Since our President isn’t helping us the 99er’s, I will not in all likely vote for him in 2012. I will stay true as a Democrat, but will vote for another Dem on the ballet. I think to myself, “This is not the Change I voted for”, but this is a wake up call 99er’s. We are large in numbers so we need to make it clear to our leaders you will not have our help if nothing is done to help us. I am tired of seing people in poverty & suffering because their unemployment ended. This recession is not our fault. Wall Street & the Republicans started this, now look. This is not American at all.
If we purchase if affordable and wear the shirts will we receive unemployment extensions? That way the Government cannot say the money is not there.
Save the 99ers, 99ers are the Long Term Unemployed, The 99ers were not covered under the Unemployment Extension, and The 99ers are raising an army to take the country back for the people. I am posting this on every site I can think of. We have people starving, living on the streets and committing suicide because our government will not help us. Most of us have already lost our homes and are living in shelters. We were allowed to draw unemployment to feed our families until we reached 99 weeks. This recession started in 2007. We are helping other countries but the U.S. is trying to eliminate the middle class and are very much aware of the percentage of poverty in our country. I can under stand dissappointment with the president, and that many dont want him in office for another term, however the president is not running this country he’s a figure head if we really want a change in goverment we have to change who we put in congress, we hav to get wall street out of the goverment
there is a group of people only a hand full that want to have one world bank and they are working hard to make this happen this will not be a good thing for us the people, the government does not care about the people of this country if they did they would do something to help, but all we get is lip service, its up to us the people to make change happen for the people for if we dont things will get much worst so we cant look for our government to help us because that would mean they care, but if we look at there actions we can see they dont
Who is the genius behind this? Lets see, pay to keep the gas, or electric, internet, or cat food, or a car payment, or $$$ for fuel to look for work, or go to interviews, OR but some of this great 99er wear…. LOL Seriously ??? I mean, seriously??? smh
America is sold out, it happened so slowly no one noticed, we have a president that doesn’t give a damn
they can spend billions in Libya, but nothing to help us, unemployment rates are dropping not because there are more jobs
because we aren’t be counted any more, every month more and more will have exhausted their unemployment so rates will continue to drop
13% of all homes in USA are vacant, 20% in Florida, why is that, we need help but that is only a band aid, we need jobs to come back to America
not China or other countries, their rich now were poor now, seems to me it starts at the president and works down

This is true all of these comments because we are not being helped. We are being dumped on and in so many ways this is happening.
I have placed many of phone calls and still nothing has happened for us. I’m sorry to say that the ones in Government just don’t care. I’m from Ohio and I’ve called the Cry baby of the House and his office just acted like it was nothing. I’m sorry. I need money to pay my bills. I can’t afford to spend anymore to get help.
THE REPUBLICIANS GET IN TOUCH WITH AMERICA, WE NEED HELP, WE LOST OUR JOBS DUE TO NO FAULT OF OUR OWN SO DO YOUR JOB OR YOU WILL BE OUT OF WORK. I lost my job in 2009 after 23 years, I lost my home, we lived in our car for 3 months, we now live with my daughter. I have applied for 300 jobs even Wendy’s, my age is holding me back. I am a electrican that’s all I know, the 99er’s need help we are the forgotten, come election day we will not forget, I promise!!!!!!!!!!! WE NEED HELP. THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE SHOULD CRY FOR US
we the people should have a say in how we live.for far too long the goverment have been holding all the wealth and that has to stop.i have been unemployed since 09 and have not found work since.all power to the people.
Has anyone heard when Congress extends the unemployment for a year.. if there will be a Tier V or help for the 99ers and state extended benefits? I am on my last two weeks. Can’t find a job anywhere. I have pounded the pavement… filled out application in several malls, job agencies, had interviews, applied on line to hear nothing back at all. This is beyond sad. I am not married.. don’t have a second income to depend on or support me. I am afraid I will be living with my dog in my small Toyota on a street somewhere. I could never afford kids in today’s world. Its hard enough on one and two people let alone kids. I would have to prostitute or web cam for income.. its ridiculous we have reached these tough times. Its more ridiculous when you have to pay the bills and can’t and rent and can’t and Congress is ignoring us. President Obama is also. Nothing is being addressed for the long term unemployed.. although they acknowledge that the job creation may take another Presidency
congress needs to get off their fat butts and help the 99ers spending billions on a war no one cares about but can;t help their own people , need to vote everyone of them out along with our president.
99ers need this extention now, not later,congress has to start taking care of its own people right now, remember these people who you helped get elected so you don;t vote for them again. stop playing games congress with 20 weeks ,lets knock it down to 14 weeks people need the largest extention just to get back on their feet again ,stop dalaying this and do your job, while you still have one.
i just wish there was a way for health care! especially dental can any one help with that?
I have been reading many of the comments on this blog and I just want to get a few things off my chest here…
#1 If you haven’t gotten the memo yet let me be the first to tell you. The last thing that Obama…The Senate…The House are gonna want to do is address the 99er issue. Why? Because to do so will add millions to the unemployment rate and that will expose once and for ALL what a disaster the past 4 years (yeah both Bush & Obama) have been not just ineffective–But Toxic to our economic health.
#2 Thinking that e-mails and phone calls will make these politicians change their dearly held refusal to establish a Tier 5 makes about as much sense as joining Linus (of ‘Peanuts’ cartoon fame) sitting out there on the pumpkin patch & waiting for “The Great Pumpkin” (Tier 5) to shower us with prizes ‘checks’–It’s not going to happen.
#3 the plight of 99ers will not change until the economy improves, so if you really want to see light at the end of the tunnel then: DO NOT VOTE OR SUPPORT ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT SLOWS/DELAYS/COMBATS Economic Recovery. That includes groups that stand opposed to any form of economic development, the irony of this is that these groups impoverish our economy and poor societies DO NOT Protect their Environment.
So tell Al Gore to get lost, tell Congress & Obama no Global Warming Tax on Energy for the foreseeable future, Demand the Jobs & Energy that the Keystone Pipeline will give to our economy, tell that rich uncle that instead of making that $5,000 yearly donation to the “Society to Protect Everything” to instead invest in the economy or donate to a charity.
I have never been unemployed until this jobless cycle, I have lost most of what I took for granted & will struggle with odd jobs, and seize regular employment at the first chance I get. What’s really sad is that so many of the people here really think the Government will come to their rescue. Hell they have made you INVISIBLE, with online registering for benefits.
