other writing services for someone who could help me with my SEO. My husband
(although legally can’t give legal advise) can help someone develop their business,
or start one. There are so many people out there in the same position we are,
perhaps a coop of some kind could work? Although, we could use some of that bailout
money to keep us with a roof over our heads, if we just were able to get by day by
day and help others we would be good.”

We must act now because our government is blacking out media and the Internet news. What happen to all the other sites related to real information concerning our lively hoods? Hum? I my self-am unemployed/underemployed, business owner and collecting UI benefits that are running out. I call, physically inquire, and submit applications to companies all through the week till my legs and ass are numb from no circulation. I have a college degree with thousands of resumes and applications out there for my identity to be stolen. There are not enough jobs out there they are all gone along with companies holding on to illegal labor. We must stand now its “do or die” “kill or be killed”. I’m not afraid I have designed and currently maintain the website “USMOA.ORG”. I contact congress, President & Vice President along with other government/political officials. I’ve even been trying to get them to donate too. They know where I am because I want them to know. So do not fear our government and also do not fear death, as everyone will see it someday. Embrace it and it will pass you for a long time. All U.S citizens should unite as a family and stop the ignorance that is holing us back. We have been duped by our government corrupted politicians, traitors, and all businesses that support illegal labor. Let’s make this be the last time. Please help and volunteer to keep the USMOA site up and running, as I cannot dedicate all my time to managing and expanding it. Use the networking page to organize protests nation wide. This idea should work. It will take some motivation, effort and support from the public though. Everyone nation wide organize protesters by state and counties to protest/march to your local downtown government or political office the public majority has agreed on. Then pick a day nation wide all citizens will march/meet like Jan1, 2012, or something to show we are taking back our country for the New Year. For citizens without cars or money or if you’d rather support public transportation… Organize gently with public transportation workers and operators working all railways, buses, and air transportation to look the other way to allow all USMOA citizen volunteers a free/commandeered transport to and from rally points for the day to support the take back of the U.S.A by the people to save us all. Basically the USMOA citizens all at once on a day must commandeer all public transportation lines to support our cause as a federal emergency act to restore order in our government to save lives.

Dan …On the Topic of “Barter and Exchange,” it has been done before. It never works. The only people you can be speaking of is a professional of some sort that can barter. Who has the energy without the basic necessities for living. You have to know people don’t have healthcare or enough food. Others that can barely make ends meet have nothing left to offer. There are jobs listed, and you may meet every single criteria of the position, and you never hear from them. Never a call. You can do everything that is told for you to do,such as, volunteer work, lower the job level doesn’t work. Volunteering for a cause is not accepted all the time by employers. Employers will put the brakes on it if you are hired and will you pay bottom wages and take advantage of your intellect and your college degree.
Okay Sarah, I’m not going to argue the points you’ve made and I certainly don’t believe all remedies are somehow solved through bartering; it’s simply another possible remedy under the right circumstance that could lead to a benefit for two parties. I’ve tried to develop anything that could work within my ability to advance it on this site and I encourage “anyone” to chime in with some sort of thoughtful idea whether grand in scale or ways to eek out a survival plan. The observations of what doesn’t work abound on this site. If there is nothing left to offer then what becomes of intellect?
There seems to be this idea somebody has to do something. “Somebody” doesn’t exist.

Barter has worked for my friends and me for over 50 years, none of us are what you would call ‘professional’, most of us did not even get through high school. I never got past junior high. I trade my knowledge, labor, the use of my tools et cetera for what I want or need. When I started doing this in 1977 I was broke, unemployed and living in a VW camper with my girlfriend. What we have that you and other 99ers lack, is the grit to go out and do whatever we need to do. We do not wait for somebody to give us a job, we create our own jobs. If you want to get paid for your intellect then create a job that will put it to use. My puny little intellect has made me very successful, just imagine what your giant, college educated intellect can do.

There has been some discussion recently about the pros and cons of the underground economy and just who might be qualified to make it work. By now many of you have found out that the ivory towers have not prepared you for life as it is. Sure, during good times college graduates make far more money than other folks. Unfortunately life is not all good times and when the good times stop you need to have an alternate plan.
I can offer six of you a way out of your dilemma, I will teach you what you need to know and start you out with a full set of tools. You will be part of a crew and the tools will be owned jointly by the entire crew. I cannot tell you what you will be doing on any given day, only that you will be learning skills that will support you for a lifetime.
I do not care about race, gender or age but there are certain qualities that I demand. First you must not have children with you (couples are welcome). Second you will need $5,000 for tuition, a good half ton truck and a self contained travel trailer. Third you will need grit, if you do not know what grit is, do not apply.
As a crew you will have far more than a full set of jack of all trades tools and I will teach you for up to a year, but you should be competent long before that. I will accept only six people, no more, no less, it is the perfect size foe a crew. I suggest that even after you leave you stay together as a cerew, crews that can work well together are in great demand. After you leave you can start a school for the other 99ers if you so choose, you could call it the school of hard knocks.
Some people have borrowed money to pay for a college education that did not produce acceptable results. Acceptable results for an education is to provide you with the tools and knowledge needed to acquire wealth. They should have taught you that wealth is not money, wealth is food, water, energy, knowledge et cetera. They should have taught you that anarchy, from the Greek an (without) arkos (leaders) just means that you have no leaders. If you have leaders, you are a slave. They should have taught you to think, the most valuable thing in the world is conceptual thought. It is a good thing that conceptual thought is free. Now that you know this you do not need me to teach you how to thrive in the underground economy, Welcome to Hooverville, do you want fries with that?.
I have just returned from northern Wisconsin where I went to inspect a property that I was interested in buying. The realtor and the bank pulled a classic ‘bait and switch’ scam in the listing but that is a real advantage for us. The property lists .91 acre of land with a log home on it but fails to mention that the property has been divided up and there is actually another home and garage on it as well. This is illegal and the bank and realtor will do anything to keep from paying the legal price. The bank will lose credibility and the realtor would lose his license.
This is my proposal to the first six people that sign up to be my crew. I will still require the $5,000 tuition but you will not need to have a truck and camper, you will live in the extra house. We will restore both the log cabin and the home, sell the house and split the profit equally. We will keep the log cabin as our business office. This is a real opportunity as Hawkins Wisconsin is in the heart of tourist country and is an exceptional place to live. The positions are filled with people that want to work, Mexicans. They are here legally so I foresee no problems. They came here to work on flood damaged homes so they are qualified to do the work and have their own tools, trucks and campers. Government and industry do not have to outsource your jobs, you can do that without help from anyone.
Jerry, Nobody has a job, no income I don’t have five dollars much less five thousand dollars, as I am quite sure your band of Mexicans probably have less then I do……Do you really think no one saw through you?
The deal fell through, the Mexicans decided that they could make more money in less time restoring houses in disaster areas, I must agree with them. You are wrong that no one has a job, the underground economy has jobs. I have a job, not like the jobs that you may be used to, I create my own jobs. The house in Wisconsin was just one of many chances that I am willing to take to get by. Picking up cans, dumpster diving and swap meets are just a few of the jobs available to those that have no money. I do not know what you seen when you saw through me but I am willing to bet that you were wrong. I find jobs because I look for jobs everywhere, except for the regular type jobs that have been so good to you. You can learn to think outside the box or take your chances with government and the corporations, it is your choice.
Do America a favor and show some personal accountability for your bad choices that have led your dependence on me and other taxpyers for everything. If your unemployed for 99 weeks then your just a failure at life and continuing you are just harming others who are not failures. The honorable thing to do would be hold yourself accountible and if only you had had courage and honor to do the right thing then America would have not had it’s credit rating downgraded.

So you are blameless? Sure, some of their problems are self inflicted and some are caused by society at large. A public fool system designed to produce obedient morons is supported by taxpayers. Three wars in 10 years were supported by taxpayers. Giving free rein to a criminal banking class was supported by taxpayers. The housing bubble was supported by taxpayers. Electing criminals to government was suppoted by taxpayers. Sure, many of the 99ers were taxpayers and share the blame. The point is that if you want them to share your tax burden then you need to find a way to employ them. BTW America borrowed more money than it can repay and that is why the credit rating was downgraded.
I am a man who has been unemployed for almost 4 years and am seeking a singer vocalist position.
I have 20+ years of practical experience vocalizing and I think I’m pretty good at it. I sing everything from Gershwin to modern rock and pop. I would like to have an extended gig, but one shots are most welcome. Pay is never too low, we can talk about that.
